![]() ![]() In response to this, some have developed a terminology of ‘Spiritual Abuse’ (SA) to define forms of non-physical or non-sexual abuse that might somehow be deemed distinctive to religious people and groups. ![]() In recent years the Roman Catholic Church, the Church of England and other religious bodies have been subject to growing public scrutiny for the handling in their midst of child abuse particularly, but of other forms of abuse too.
